Hi Mike I’m really going to try and keep this short but here it goes .a year ago Doug settard working where I work in retail. We are both cashiers and when he settard working we got along great and he was fun to work with and talk to and everything. He had just graduated high school so right when I met him I wasn’t attracted to him yet and considering im 2 years older I never thought I’d like a guy who is younger. I told him about the guy I liked who always came into our store and bought food and stuff. Doug knew I was really shy and he offered to help me try and get this guy. Anyway after summer was over he left to go to school out of state about 3 or 4 hrs away. After about a month the crush I had got a girlfriend I told Doug and he was as disappointed as I was. Then Christmas time came around and Doug came home for a few weeks and worked during that time too. And I was soooo happy those few weeks he was home he texted me when he was back and I went to visit him his first day and he was like ugh im so tired and he gave me a hug. Then once a week a few work buddies would get together and go out for dinner and he would go too once as we were leaving we were giving hugs and he hugged me. This is about the time I realized I liked him and I think he liked me. The last hug I got was when he and I went to go see a movie together since I didn’t work with him on his last day. And he picked me up at my house for the movie but we paid for our own tickets and when he went to drop me off he asked for a hug. Then he went back to school and now he’s back again because of summer yet I haven’t received one hug yet. Whenever he talks to me at work we maintain eye contact like the whole time and I never do that with anyone, he helps me out whenever he can at work and always asks me for help if he needs it. Sometimes I will be standing at work and he will just come right up and stand right next to me very little space between us and just start talking about something. I mean I think he likes me and I’ve read the stuff you have posted I just don’t want my mind bending things to make it seem as though he likes me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated though!
